The patented Defocus Incorporated Soft Contact lens for myopia control developed at PolyU has recently been licensed to a local company. This kind of custom-made lens will benefit hundreds of thousands of children in need.
With its 3,000-strong running team, PolyU won the Champion of the "Most Supportive Group Award" for the ninth consecutive year at the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon held on 21 January. PolyU runners also bagged multiple prizes at the race.
