This seminar will explore the application of immersive technology in teaching and learning, and introduce the facilities available at our university. University-wide facilities in immersive technology, including virtual and mixed reality, and CAVE VR systems offer a unique opportunity to engage students in learning experiences that are interactive, immersive, and memorable. In this seminar, we will discuss the background of immersive technologies, the benefits and challenges of using these technologies in education, and showcase examples of successful applications in hospitals. We will also showcase the facilities available at our university. This seminar is ideal for educators, instructional designers, and anyone interested in exploring the potential of immersive technology for teaching and learning.
The workshop is jointly organised by the CoP on Applications of Immersive Technologies for Teaching and Learning and EDC.
