This seminar presents the mid-term collaborative effort of a diverse team from APSS, SD, BRE, ABCT, and BEEE, aimed at developing a comprehensive curriculum that embraces the "new normal" mindset.
The seminar will focus on two main aspects: (1) the adoption of an E-Learning and Space Earning Approach (ESE), which promotes blended learning and flipped classroom practices, peer-supported learning, and transparent teacher-student interaction via the PADLET platform, and (2) the integration of immersive technology such as VR/AR devices into the pedagogical design of relevant subjects to enable assessment of students' authentic input focusing on personalised reflection. Benefits and challenges of linking technology and education is discussed as the conclusion.
This activity is jointly organised by the CoP on Application of Immersive Technologies for Teaching and Learning and EDC.
