Chan Man Chung and Institute of Systems Management

It has come to our attention that an individual and a number of organisations have wrongfully made claims and representations that they are connected with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), and mislead the public. The University makes the following clarifications and reserves all rights against them:-

Chan Man Chung 陳文中, also known as Edmond Chan
Chan Man Chung left the employ of the University in March 2013. His last position at the University was Research Fellow.

Institute of Systems Management Limited 系統管理研究院有限公司 (Company Number: 0873735)
The University’s subsidiary (PolyU Enterprises Limited) disposed of all its shareholdings in the above company in August 2011. PolyU Enterprises Limited was dissolved in November 2016. The above company misrepresented in its Annual Return filed with the Hong Kong Companies Registry that, as of December 2019, PolyU Enterprises Limited still has 45% shareholding. The above company has no connection or relationship with the University, and has no authority to use the University’s logo, or “polyu” in the domain name of its website and as part of its contact email.

Institute of Systems Management (International) Limited 系統管理研究院(國際)有限公司 (Company Number: 1223464) and Institute of Systems Management Global Limited 系統管理研究院環球有限公司 (Company Number 1233101)
The above companies have, without the consent or authorisation of the University, used the University’s address as their “Address of Registered Office”. These companies have no connection or relationship with the University.

The University reiterates that, without prior written approval from the University, no individual or company is allowed to make direct or indirect reference to PolyU to endorse commercial products.
