With core business in Asia, his technology company specialises in artificial intelligence, omni-channels AI customer services and voice technology. After securing support such as PolyU Tech Launchpad Fund and PolyU Micro Fund from his alma mater, Mr Shum won numerous fintech, deep tech, start-up and retail awards in Asia with his team. His AI voicebot training system also received silver prize at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. Mr Shum is also a popular guest speaker at entrepreneurship or alumni events of the University, where he was frequently invited to share his entrepreneurial experience with teachers, students and graduates.
