Prof. Jack Poon, Professor of Practice (Fintech, Entrepreneurial Finance) of the School of Accounting and Finance, has been appointed by the Government as a member of the Task Force on Promoting Web3 Development. Chaired by the Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan, the Task Force aims to provide recommendations on the sustainable and responsible development of Web3 in Hong Kong. The appointment will take effect from 1 July 2023, for two years.
