Biography

Dr. Xiaoyang LI is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the School of Accounting and Finance, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also received a bachelor and master degree in finance from Renmin University of China.

His research interests include Financial Technology (FinTech), banking and corporate finance. His research has been published in Information Systems Research, The Journal of Corporate Finance, Finance Research Letters, etc. He is also the Principal Investigator of a Hong Kong RGC grant, and the principal investigator of a NSFC Young Scientist Fund.
