With the seeds of eco-consciousness sown in him early on, Dr Bruce Wang Lei founded EcoFlow in 2017 to deliver clean energy solutions and reinvent the way of energy access. In just four years, it became the first portable power company valued at over US$1 billion, serving millions of users in more than 100 markets. Innovation by this unicorn is all the more impressive – its EcoFlow DELTA Pro Portable Power Station is the world’s first portable home battery that broke Kickstarter’s record for the most funded tech project, and made it to Time’s list of “100 Best Inventions of 2021”. Dr Wang himself was also listed among the 40 Under 40 by Fortune China in 2022.
