On 10 Aug 2024, PolyU Fujian Alumni Networking Dinner was hosted in Jinjiang. Approximately 140 guests attended the event, including the senior management, scholars and academicians, representatives from PolyU-Jinjiang Technology and Innovation Research Institute and alumni.
Dr Lam Tai-fai, Chairman of PolyU Council delivered a welcome remarks at the dinner and stated that the establishment of Research Institute would support and promote the transformation and application of technological achievement at Fujian.
Dr Miranda Lou, Executive Vice President of the University introduced the recent achievements and future development plan of PolyU. She hopes to witness the establishment of PolyU Fujian Alumni Network in the near future.
Professor Christopher Chao, Vice President (Research and Innovation), shared an overview of research commercialisation and innovation & entrepreneurship. Prof Yu Changyuan, Director and Prof. WONG Ka-hing, Associate Director of PolyU-Jinjiang Technology and Innovation Research Institute introduced the research and impactful innovations, as well as collaboration opportunities.
The dinner concluded in a heartwarming occasion, filled with laughter and joy.
