On 29 September - 4 October 2024, PolyU Pearl River Delta Alumni Network teamed up to represent PolyU in 19th Xuanzang Road Business School Gobi Challenge at Dunhuang, China. The team was awarded with the “Shackleton Award”, “Endeavour Award” and “Environmental Leadership Recognition Award”, marking a historic moment for PolyU.
The team received support from the University and Faculty of Business. President Professor Jin-Guang Teng, Professor Edward Cheng, Dean of the School of Business, and Professor Lu Haitian, Director of Mainland Development shared their encouragement through with video messages for the team members. Professor Lu attended the event to show support for the team. The team successfully completed the 4-day challenge with outstanding results.
