Mr Alex Wong Chun-bong, certified public accountant, founder and proprietor of C.B. Wong & Co., has forged strong ties with his alma mater all along. Previously a lecturer at PolyU and currently a Council Member, Mr Wong has served on various committees, and has particularly been active in alumni affairs. Once the President and Director of the Federation of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Alumni Associations, as well as the Accounting and Finance Graduates Association, Mr Wong never hesitates to lend his unremitted support to University-wide initiatives. His generous contributions towards mentoring students and improving campus facilities have also been remarkable.

The Hon. Edmund Wong Chun-sek, currently a legislative councillor representing the accountancy constituency in Hong Kong and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Practising), has made tremendous contributions to his professional community. A member of various committees under professional bodies, including the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and the Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors (SCAA), Mr Wong is currently the Practising Director of Patrick Wong CPA Limited. After graduating from PolyU, he has been a staunch supporter of student development programmes of the School of Accounting and Finance. His generous contributions towards nurturing young professionals for the industry has been exemplary. Mr Wallace LI Wai-ming
Founder and Director, Crudo International Limited
Mr Wallace Li Wai-ming is the Founder and Director of Crudo International Limited, a company specialising in customised fashion and leather accessories with retail outlets in large-scale shopping malls throughout the territory. With the expansion of his e-commerce business, he has identified an overseas niche market in recent years, and tapped into a global fan base. An accounting graduate and budding entrepreneur, Mr Li has deployed various innovative techniques in terms of design and production to develop his unique product repertoire. He also collaborated with local and international partners to promote sustainability in the industry, especially advocating the use of natural tanning and recycled leather. Mr Li has long been supportive to PolyU’s student activities, both as an undergraduate and as an alumnus.
