Mr Vincent Ma Wai-shin, Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong–Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited, is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field. Mr Ma joined Wharf T&T Limited in 1995, before the company was even granted a fixed telecom network license. He grew with the company and witnessed the subsequent deregulation of the telecom industry. From 2006 to 2019, Mr Ma served as President and then Chief Executive Officer of Wharf T&T. Under his leadership, the company became one of Hong Kong’s most successful and profitable ICT service providers. From 2019 to 2021, Mr Ma was Chief Digital Officer of Sun Hung Kai Properties, where he set up a new Digital Office. His efforts focused on driving digital transformation and big data strategies across the group’s diverse business portfolio. Mr Ma currently serves on the Departmental Advisory Committee for PolyU’s Department of Computing.

Mr Alan Kwok Siu-lun's career is distinguished by his pioneering contributions to the surgical robotics industry, highlighted by his extensive patent portfolio. As Director of Industrial Design at a top surgical robot company, Mr Kwok drives innovation in non-invasive surgery. His leadership extends to guiding clinical usability studies with surgeons to ensure that his designs prioritise safety and performance. Mr Kwok’s impactful inventions include a feeding device for tubular components and a flexible endoscope system, both showcasing his commitment to advancing medical technology. Before focusing on surgical robotics, he excelled across various industries, designing products for unmanned aerial vehicles, households, and the audio-visual sector. His work has been incorporated into several prestigious brands. Acknowledged for his craftsmanship and dedication, Mr Kwok has received several prestigious awards, including the iF Design Award, and multiple Red Dot Design awards. In 2023, he was named Employee of the Year and appointed Founding Director at Precision Robotics (HK) Limited, solidifying his reputation as a leader and innovator in surgical robotics.
Dr MAI Weijie

Dr Mai Weijie received his Bachelor of Engineering with first class honours from The University of New South Wales, Australia in 2012, and his Doctor of Philosophy from PolyU in 2017 as an awardee of the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme—both in electrical engineering. In 2020, he was also recognised as Overseas High-Caliber Personnel under the Shenzhen Peacock Plan. Dr Mai currently serves as Vice President of Shenzhen Auto Electric Power Plant Company, Limited—a listed, state-recognised high-tech enterprise. The company, established in 1993, designs, develops, manufactures, and operates high-power industrial charging equipment. He is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Department of New Energy, overseeing various divisions. His primary objective is to ensure smooth and efficient operations across all divisions while driving the company's strategic initiatives in new energy. Dr Mai and his team have significantly impacted the new energy industry by contributing to the development of the groundbreaking Mega-Watt Adaptive Charging Power Pool, and the establishment of an Electric Vehicle (EV) Ultra-Fast Public Charging Network with a capacity of 235MW across China. Dr Mai’s achievements exemplify a commitment to building safer, greener, and more efficient charging solutions. These efforts minimise the use of valuable public resources such as land and power, marking a notable step towards a sustainable EV charging infrastructure.
