Sharing Session: “Time-Capsuling: The Untold Journeys of PolyU Design”

Join us on an inspiring journey through time as we delve into the rich history of the School of Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University over the past sixty years.

The “Time-capsuled Histories: Six Decades of PolyU Design” Exhibition, staged on the campus of PolyU from 7 October 2024 to 11 November 2024, examines the developmental path of PolyU Design, showcasing its evolution through visual and systematic mapping, while also displaying various alumni design works. It reveals the historical development of the School and its profound impact on Hong Kong's design education landscape.

In this session on 18 October, the research team led by Mr Siu King Chung will share the journey, explaining how they spent over a year visiting numerous individuals, searching for and organizing a wealth of valuable materials, ultimately culminating in the exhibition's achievements, not to mention the interesting stories and facts behind the development of the School.
