Prof. Wong has demonstrated his business acumen through the growth of his kitchenware company, King’s Flair, which was founded in 1989 and was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2015. Adopting a virtual manufacturing network model, he has complete control over the whole supply chain without the need to own any factories. His focus on humanistic designs has also seen the company win the Hong Kong Smart Design Awards, D-Mark awards, Good Design Awards and the Red Dot Design Award. Meanwhile, Prof. Wong never lost sight of the importance of giving back to society. He not only supports charities such as The Community Chest of Hong Kong, Chi Heng Foundation and A Drop of Life, but also built schools in the Mainland.
