Ir the Hon. Chan Siu-hung has made considerable contributions to the electricity industry and CLP’s business in Mainland China. His busy schedule notwithstanding, he always finds time to devote himself to social services and professional bodies. Apart from being a Member of the HKSAR Legislative Council and a Member of the Hong Kong Advisory Council on AIDS, Ir Chan is the Past President of the Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association and the Chairman of its Membership Development Committee. In the Mainland, he has been appointed as a Member of the 11th and 12th Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, a Member of the Council for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation, Vice President of China Energy Society, as well as Executive Council Member of the China Electricity Council.
