With a keen eye for Hong Kong's community culture and traditional architecture, Ms Fion Lau Hoi-ching took note of the challenges they faced due to urban development. In response, she co-founded Puzzle Weekly in 2022, a social design enterprise incubated by the Hong Kong Design Centre. Their mission is to promote local culture and cultivate the Hong Kong brand through the power of gamification and co-creation. Harnessing her expertise in visual language, Ms Lau collaborated with her business partner, leveraging their professional knowledge to craft their inaugural interactive puzzle hunt game centred around Wan Chai. Their innovative puzzle hunt game model garnered acclaim, earning them the prestigious Best Social Care Award at the YDC Dare to Change Business Pitch Competition in 2022.
