Ms Hazel Lee Hiu-hei distinguished herself with first-class honours upon graduating in 2018. It was during her academic pursuits that she discovered a profound fascination for the artistry of craftsmanship and the enchanting allure of copper. Motivated by this passion, she co-founded COXPER, a platform dedicated to celebrating imperfect aesthetics. In 2021, an exciting collaboration unfolded between Ms Lee and Wah Gor, a highly regarded local calligraphy master. Their partnership resulted in the creation of “Craft-ligraphy”, a captivating blend of calligraphy's refined elegance and the rustic charm of craftsmanship. This exceptional artwork was prominently exhibited at Crafts on Peel in Hong Kong, and London Craft Week in 2023, where it garnered an overwhelmingly positive response. Ms Lee's exceptional talent has earned her the Young Design Talent Special Mention Award at the DFA Awards 2023.
