Mr Hofi Man Ho-yin, an emerging talent in the industry, has been honoured with the Young Design Talent Special Mention Award at the DFA Awards 2023. His expertise lies in the realms of curatorial work, archival research, and conservation, with a particular focus on costumes and textiles. Mr Man's artistic creations primarily take the form of wearable pieces, which have garnered recognition through exhibitions held in Hong Kong, Japan, Dubai, India, Australia, and Germany. One of his remarkable co-curated projects is "Fashion, or the Enchanting Spectacle of the Code." This exhibition delves into the realm of postmodern fashion, drawing inspiration from Baudrillard's essay of the same name. It serves as a captivating exploration of the intersection between fashion and cultural concepts, showcasing Mr Man's ability to weave together artistic expression and intellectual discourse.
