Prof. Law Chung-king is an international authority in the areas of combustion, propulsion, fluid mechanics, energy and the environment. He had published more than 550 journal articles as of 2021, leading to him being recognised by various citation and indexing agencies, including the Institute for Scientific Information, as one of the most cited researchers worldwide in the field of engineering. His academic prowess has earned him many professional designations: apart from being an Elected Member of the National Academy of Engineering in the US, he has also been a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and the American Physical Society.
