With great passion for global youth leadership and social impacts, Mr William Du Fengjie has spared no effort in empowering youth both locally and overseas for fostering mutual understanding and cooperation. He has been recognised by the World Economic Forum over the years as a Global Shaper. He was not only elected as the Curator of Hong Kong Hub but also appointed by the Forum to be the Co-Chair of the Global Advisory Council and the incumbent Community Champion. In 2022, Mr Du was invited jointly by the World Economic Forum and the All-China Youth Federation (中華全國青年聯合會) to address the inaugural World Youth Development Forum proposed by President Xi Jinping, where he, representing Hong Kong, was one of the ten Forum Rapporteurs to draft and launch the Action Plan for Global Youth Development and the International Advocacy for Prioritizing Youth Development. In the local context, he has been actively promoting volunteerism and mentorship in Hong Kong through an innovative local charity Time Auction.
