Drawing inspiration from introspection, personal experiences, and the stories he encounters, Mr Yau Kwok-keung delves into the realm of lost and vanishing connections within relationships and his surroundings. He channels his profound response into various artistic mediums, including drawing, moving image, and installation. Mr Yau's enthralling artwork has been showcased in both solo and group exhibitions across prestigious art institutions. Notable exhibitions include "Blackout Momentum" at Current Plans in 2024, "Made in Hong Kong" at Art Central in 2022, and "The Sunshine is Still There" at SC Gallery in 2022, among many others. As a self-taught tattoo artist, Mr Yau skilfully merges the art forms of tattooing and graphic design. His innovative approach has earned him recognition, including the esteemed CreateSmart Young Design Talent Award at the DFA Awards 2023.
