On 8 May 2018, Dr Leong Che-hung, a well-known surgeon and Chairman of the Hong Kong AIDS Foundation, at the invitation of the Alumni Affairs and Development Office of PolyU and the Federation of PolyU Alumni Associations, delivered a talk on the topic of “The Bitterness and Joy of Retirement”.
In his speech, Dr Leong shared his insights on retirement life. He encouraged our senior alumni to continue their lifelong learning in order to remain active in society, keep up with changing times and enjoy a fruitful life after retirement. This was the fourth talk of the Pre-retirement Talk Series, over 200 alumni attended as audience.
