On 20 May 2023, PolyU Shanghai Alumni Network organised a networking dinner. President Professor Jin-Guang Teng, Executive Vice President, Dr Miranda Lou, together with approximately 100 alumni attended the dinner.
President Teng delivered a welcome remark and introduced PolyU's development and outstanding achievements. He encouraged Shanghai alumni, especially young alumni, to actively contribute their insights and suggestions for the development of the alma mater.
President Teng then presented Certificates of Appreciation to the first Executive Committee Members of Shanghai Alumni Network for their dedication to PolyU and the Alumni Networks. Dr Lou was invited to present the Appointment Letters to the Honorary Advisors and the second Executive Committee members of the Network.
The “Dialogue with Teng” session was the highlight of the dinner, which further elevated the atmosphere of the event. The alumni passionately shared their concerns about the university’s development, alumni affairs, and the nurturing of young alumni. President Teng and Dr Lou patiently addressed each inquiry. The alumni deeply felt the warmth and affection of their alma mater through this meaningful interaction.
