A group of alumni who graduated with a Diploma in Computing Studies in 1981 visited their alma mater on 29 October 2024. Representatives from the Alumni Affairs Office and Department of Computing warmly welcomed the group and presented them with special souvenirs.
The alumni were excited to explore the latest landmarks and developments at their alma mater. During the guided campus tour, they visited the University Square, Pao Yue-kong Library, Jockey Club Innovation Tower, and other attractions. One of the highlights was the opportunity to visit the Department of Computing, where they were introduced to state-of-the-art facilities and technologies such as the Cave Automatic Virtual Environment (CAVE) system and an AI coffee system. They even had a chance to enjoy a cup of milk tea made by the AI.
The visit concluded with a dinner filled with laughter and memories at a restaurant on campus. Everyone eagerly looked forward to the upcoming alumni reunion!
