CAM-Digest从2004年12月开办以来, 已经经过两年的时光,
现在已有近三千注册读者. 在CAM-Digest开办两周年之际,
非常感谢大家的支持.
在最近重庆的中国计算数学学会年会上, 严宁宁教授已经从
学会秘书长的位置上荣休了, 同时她也从CAM-Digest的常务
编辑的位置上荣休了. 从本期开始, 新任的中国计算数学学
会秘书长许学军教授将接替CAM-Digest常务编辑的工作.
在此, 请允许我代表CAM-Digest的读者衷心感谢严宁宁教授这
两年的辛勤劳动和无私奉献!

Nominations for Feng Kang Prize
The Committee of Feng Kang Prize of Scientific Computing is seeking
applications and nominations for 2007 year. The prize is awarded every
other year to young Chinese Scientists in China and abroad for their
outstanding researches in numerical analysis and scientific computing. The
prize winners will be announced in September 2007. Application forms can

The IAENG International Conference on Scientific Computing (ICSC'07) will
take place in Hong Kong, 21-23 March, 2007.
The conference ICSC'07 is held under the International MultiConference
of Engineers and Computer Scientists 2007. The IMECS 2007 is organized by
the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and serves as good
platforms for the engineering community members to meet with each other and
to exchange ideas. The last conference in 2006 has attracted a total of over
four hundred participants from over 30 countries. All submitted papers will
be under peer review and accepted papers will be published in the conference
proceeding (ISBN: 978-988-98671-4-0). The abstracts will be indexed and available
at major academic databases. The accepted papers will also be considered for
publication in the special issues of the journal Engineering Letters, in IAENG
journals and in edited books of the series "Lecture Notes in Engineering

Computer Science".

第七届谱和高阶方法国际会议ICOSAHOM 2007--Second call for Minisymposium proposals
7th International Conference on Spectral
and High-Order Methods (ICOSAHOM'07)
June 18-22, 2007, Beijing
The 7th International Conference on Spectral and High Order Methods (ICOSAHOM)
will continue a tradition established through the organization of the 1st
ICOSAHOM by C. Canuto and A. Quarteroni in Como, Italy in 1989. This conference
continues to be a main conference venue where significant advances and new
applications of high-order accurate methods for solving PDE's are presented.
As the deadline for the minisymposia proposals is approaching, we are
reminding interested reseachers to submit your proposals as soon as possible.
The deadline for submitting the proposals is **January 15, 2007**.

湖州师范学院坐落于浙江省湖州市，是一所浙江省与湖州市共建的地方性本科师范
院校，其历史可追溯到创办于1916年的“钱江道第三县立师范讲习所”。1958年创
办湖州师范专科学校，开始高等教育。1994年起先后挂靠浙江师范大学和杭州师范
学院招收本科生，开始本科教育。1999年开始独立招收本科生。数学系是学校创办
最早的系科之一，已培养本专科生3000余名，毕业生中的绝大多数已成为各地、市
教育单位中的中坚力量。
现数学系设有：数学与应用数学、信息与计算科学二个专业，基础数学、应用数学
和高等数学三个教研室，1个数学研究所，1个省重点扶植学科实验室和1个数学建
模实验室。拥有充足的教学设备和图书资料，有一支精干的师资队伍。现有在职教
师25名，其中教授6名，副教授9名，讲师6名。有获得硕士、博士学位的教师15名，
另有兼职教授1名。现数学系的基础数学学科为省重点扶植学科，数学与应用数学
专业为省重点专业。近年来承担省部级以上的科研项目二十余项，发表学术论文
300余篇，出版专著与教学参考书目十余部，在复分析、微分方程、概率统计和控
制理论等领域取得了可喜的成绩。
数学系抓住了高等教育发展的历史性机遇，坚持以发展为主旋律，以质量为生命线，
以改革为推动力；坚持以本科教育为主线，以人才培养为中心，以学科专业建设为
龙头，以师资队伍建设为关键，以党建思想政治工作为保障，全面推动新一轮创业，
跨越式发展已初见成效，呈现出强劲的发展势头。
