International Workshop on Control, Optimization
Signal Processing, and Computer Communications

To celebrate Professor John Moore's 60th birthday and his distinguished contributions in the areas of control, optimization, signal processing, etc, we are taking this opportunity to invite you to attend a special 2-day workshop on 'Control, Optimization, Signal Processing and Computer Communications'. The workshop will be held in Hong Kong on 5-6 May, 2001. The workshop aims to bring together eminent scholars in these areas from all over the world to Hong Kong. This workshop will provide a special forum for the participants to exchange ideas on the latest developments and future directions of these fascinating research areas.

March 15, 2001: Please send a definite notification by this date if you can attend the workshop in Hong Kong. Please email Gwenda Pittaway at gwenda@ee.mu.oz.au.

April 1, 2001: Title and short abstract of your talk due. Please email Gwenda Pittaway at gwenda@ee.mu.oz.au Note that no registration fee is needed – these expenses will be covered by the sponsors listed below.
