Objective

Statistics and Biostatistics involve many challenging problems in health science, biomedi- cal science, genetic and genomic research, applied mathematics and scientic computation. This workshop brings together leading experts to present and discuss recent developments in these areas, to enhance collaboration among applied mathematicians, statisticians, biostatis- ticians, and researchers in health and biomedical sciences, and to provide an opportunity for young researchers to learn the current state of the art in these important directions.
