Organized for the fourth time since 1993, the Asian Industrial Technology Congress has emerged to be the leading interactive technology presentation forum in Hong Kong and its nearby region. Focusing on introducing high value-added applied technologies for their readily adoption, AITC’02 will systematically assist the adoption of highly adaptive technologies for enhancing the competitiveness and productivity of various industries and commerce. Based on ready-for-adoption features and business enhancement value, the Congress aims to selectively assist technology adoption in the areas of Advanced Design and Manufacturing, New Material Application, Environmentally Friendly Operations, Telecommunications and Information Technology.

As a strategically guided exchange platform with established support through out the technology development and transfer process, the Congress’ ultimate objective is to facilitate successful applied technology transfers regionally for solid results, integrating interests from technology suppliers, industrialists, R&D practitioners and business investors.

The 2-day symposium will be held concurrently with Asian Industrial Expo 2002, a dominant regional industrial exhibition, to leverage the complementary strengths of both events for optimal impact to the industry.

「亞洲工業科技大會」乃香港及亞太區最具規模並受業界矚目的工業科技應用及技術轉移會議，自一九九三年首次舉辦以來，大會目的旨在向工業界和企業家推介高增值的嶄新技術及產品，有系統地選擇適合工商業所需的應用科技，著重即時的應用性及商業價值，為工商各界提高競爭力及生產力。第四屆的「亞洲工業科技大會」將重點推介先進的設計及製造科技、工業新材料、環保科技、電訊及資訊科技四大領域的高新技術。

歷屆「亞洲工業科技大會」都秉承以促進地區性科技交流及技術轉移為宗旨，在新科技發展及應用方面為參與者提供緊密的跟進服務，為技術供應商、工業家、科研人員及投資者提供一個指導交流的展覽平台，吸引到各界人士的踴躍參與。

為期兩日的研討會將與「亞洲工業博覽會」同時舉行，屆時博覽會將向各界展示最新科技及產品。
