AP Entry Scholarships
For Local HKDSE admittees
In addition to the University Academic Scholarships for the outstanding HKDSE students (please refer to Study@PolyU for eligibility), Entry Scholarships from the Department will also be granted if the admittee fulfills any of the criteria below:

Note: Each eligible student will be awarded only one of the academic scholarships mentioned above. They will receive the scholarship with the most favourable terms4.
Remarks:
1 For the purpose of calculating the admission scores, HKDSE level attainments will be converted to level points where Level 5**=8.5, 5*=7, 5=5.5, 4=4, 3=3, 2=2, 1=1 and Unclassified=0.
2 The Extended Mathematics modules will also be taken into account for scholarship consideration.
3 The University will continue to offer entry scholarships at university level for JUPAS students who attain at least Level 5** in any two subjects or above. For details, please visit the website of Academic Registry.
4 According to the University’s policy, a student can concurrently hold more than one scholarship administered by the University in an academic year if the total value of scholarships received by him/her does not exceed his/her annual tuition fee payable plus an allowance of HK$50,000 unless otherwise stipulated.
