Prof. Jianhua HAO, Chair Professor of Materials Physics and Devices of AP received Key Programme Funding Support from the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
Prof Hao's team collaborates with researchers from Nankai University and Sichuan Normal University to perform the study of multifunctional ultrathin ferroelectric integrated materials and devices for neuromorphic computing and artificial visual system.
The study is to effectively integrate ferroelectric polarization with multifunctional characteristics of electronic properties of semiconductor, photodetection and rare-earth ion luminescence, to develop multimodal and novel synaptic devices. The developed materials and devices in this project will help overcome the bottleneck in information technology development.

郝教授團隊聯合合作單位南開大學及四川師範大學的研究人員,展開面向神經形態計算和人工視覺的超薄鐵電多功能集成材料與器件的研究。 此項目將鐵電極化與半導體電子特性、光電探測和稀土離子發光的多功能特性有機結合起來,從而發展具有多模式的新型神經突觸器件,所研發的材料和器件希望能有助于解決資訊科技發展的瓶頸問題。
