Outstanding Alumni Award 2017
Congratulations to our outstanding AP alumni, Mr. Stephen AU Ling-Ming, on winning the Outstanding PolyU Alumni Award 2017!
Mr Stephen Au is founder and Managing Director of MTECH Engineering Co., Ltd., a leading information technology company in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland. It provides BIM (Building Information Modelling), Lean Construction and Product Lifecycle Management solutions, and consulting services to the construction and manufacturing industry. His company was named by Mediazone as one of Hong Kong's Most Valuable Companies 2017 in recognition of its major contributions to the effective application of 3D technology.
A veteran in the fields of IT, building construction and manufacturing for over 25 years, in 2007, Mr Au rightly earned acclamation by receiving the China’s Top 100 Innovative Enterprise Leaders Award. Under his leadership, MTECH has participated in the construction project of the Beijing National Stadium. He has been an ardent supporter of his alma mater and his company together with Dassault Systems donated some valuable software to PolyU in 2003.
