Online Info Seminar for Doctor of Social Work Programme (September 2024 Entry)

The Doctor of Social Work (DSW) programme is currently recruiting its 8th intake cohort. Over the past few years, the programme has attracted students with diverse backgrounds, including senior social workers, experienced welfare administrators and social work educators. We have also admitted a good mix of students from various regions.

The DSW programme aims to develop a critical mass of future social work leaders. It is specifically designed to meet the needs of those who seek to develop and advance their academic, professional and reflective capacity and capability as practitioner-researcher-educator in a social setting of rapid changes. The core programme features include:

• Practice Research and Practice Education
• Integration of Theory and Practice
• Dialogue between International Perspective and Local Setting
• Individual Concerns and Social Consideration
