Biography
Previously, Dr. Cheng has managed a HK$30.08 million project, the CUHK - Jockey Club HOPE 4 Care Programme, funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charitable Trust Fund. During the project period, the research team has collaborated with over a hundred therapists and clinical staffs from 39 centers from 25 NGOs to provide technology-assisted stroke rehabilitation therapy to around 650 beneficiaries (>10,000 training sessions) all over Hong Kong. The project was recognized internationally at the 9th Asia-Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards Ceremony by the industry, as the HOPE 4 Care Programme was announced the winner of the Best Rehabilitation Programme by Ageing Asia in Singapore on 3 December 2021.
