The main entrance at Core A officially unveiled in August 2022 adopted the design that reflects the proud heritage of the University, enriched with a touch of contemporary style. While the iconic entrance blends our signature red brick architectural style with classical colonnade features, a vertical green wall on the other side of the portal displays the PolyU logo floating on a reflective pool. The main entrance is more than just a new landmark – it manifests PolyU’s continuous pursuit of excellence, taking its world-class education and research to a new era.
A new canopy at Core P has also been constructed to echo with the design of main entrance at Core A. Both enhancement works were completed in June 2022. Photovoltaic panels have been installed along the top of new canopy at Core A main entrances to increase the use of renewable energy.
