CEE kick-started its School Outreach Programme 2019/2020 at Yew Chung International School on 10 October 2019.
Dr Ben Leu, Programme Leader of BEng(Hons) in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Development, gave a mini lecture on “The recent development of environmental protection in Hong Kong” and an introduction of CEE academic programmes to the students there.
18 October 2019 - Ho Yu College and Primary School
On 18 October 2019, Dr TM Chan, Associate Professor of CEE, gave a mini lecture on “Structural Engineering” and an introduction of CEE academic programmes to Ho Yu College and Primary School. The talk received positive comments from a total of 38 Secondary 6 students.
22 October 2019 - Yan Chai Hospotal No.2 Secondary School
On 22 October 2019, Dr SK Lai, Assistant Professor of CEE, gave a mini lecture on “Structural and Fire Engineering” and introduced CEE academic programmes at Yan Chai Hospital No.2 Secondary School.
25 October 2019 - Pui Kiu Middle School
On 25 October 2019, Dr Tony Sze, Assistant Professor of CEE, gave a mini lecture on “Structural Engineering” and introduced CEE academic programmes at Pui Kiu Middle School. A total of 130 Secondary students attended the mini lecture.
