Dr. Tan Daoyuan Andy received his PhD from The Hong Kong Polytechnic Unviersity. Before that, he obtained his bachelor's and master's degree from the China University of Geosciences.
His research interests focus on natural hazard mitigation, ground improvement, and development of smart monitoring system for geotechnical structures.
