Dr Wang Cunteng received his BEng., MEng., and PhD degrees from Zhengzhou University in 2014, Harbin Institute of Technology in 2017, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2020, respectively. He then worked as a Research Associate at The University of Hong Kong from 2020 to 2022.
Dr Wang’s research focuses on the bioaerosol/aerosol behavior and its role in disease transmission (i.e., Covid-19) in indoor environments. Dr Wang has rich experience in aerosol characterization, dispersion, deposition, and resuspension. His research has been invited for a lecture by American Association for Aerosol Research (AAAR) and was highlighted as a cover page in Journal of Aerosol Science. In HKU team, they have collaborated with Prince Philip Dental Hospital (PPDH) to develop control measures in order to curb SARS-CoV-2 virus spread in dental hospital.
