Prof. Andrew Whittle of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who is the Departmental Academic Advisor of CEE, paid his first visit to the Department from 9 to 11 Jan 2023.
Apart from the CEE management team, Prof. Whittle also met with different student groups including undergraduate, master and postgraduate students. He also joined the CEE Departmental Advisory Committee (DAC) Meeting to learn the development of the Department and understand the civil and environmental industries in Hong Kong. CEE’s curriculum updates, research achievements and 50th Anniversary upcoming events were deliberated during the meeting.
