Prof. You Dong organised a research progress briefing for TRS members

On 31 January 2024, Prof. You Dong was briefed on the research progress of the TRS project by TRS research members, including Dr. Zheng-Wei Chen, Dr. E Deng, Dr. Wen-Bo Hu, Mr. Huan Yue, Mr. Xin-Yuan Liu, Mr. En-Ze Rui, Mr. Guang-Zhi Zeng, Mr. Yuan-Jiang Zeng, and Mr. Jia-Hao Lu.

1. Huan Yue presented the research progress of observation techniques for windborne debris;

2. Xin-Yuan Liu presented the research progress on observation techniques of building displacements under the action of typhoon;

3. En-Ze Rui and Guang-Zhi Zeng presented the research progress on the impact of the AWE Pavilion at HKIA on the airport wind field;

4. Yuan-Jiang Zeng presented the research progress on typhoon eye prediction based on the Pan-Gu model;

5. Jia-Hao Lu presented a study on the monitoring data based on building-mounted sensors;

6. Wen-Bo Hu presented the research progress on the detection of glass fragments based on machine vision.

After the meeting, Associate Prof. Dong particularly emphasised that the research content of each member should closely follow the requirements of the TRS project and correspond to the deliverables point by point!
