A meeting between TRS team members and Far East Facade (Hong Kong) Ltd.

On October 30, 2024, the TRS project team held a meeting with Far East Facade (Hong Kong) Limited about monitoring glass facades during typhoons. The meeting, chaired by Prof. Yi-Qing Ni, involved introductions of both teams and their project backgrounds. Prof. Ni provided a detailed overview of the TRS project, focusing on its research on tropical storms and urban resilience. The discussion explored potential collaborations, particularly in structural health monitoring and facade inspections. Mr. Fei Gao emphasized the importance of installing film sensors on glass for real-time monitoring and expressed a strong willingness to collaborate with the TRS team. Prof. Ni also expressed full support for future collaboration.
