CEE Secondary School Visits

In 2021/22, CEE continues to organize Departmental Visits for secondary school students to enable them to learn more about civil and environmental engineering and discover PolyU campus and facilities.

Tak Sun Secondary School (28 Sep 2021)

Students built a free-standing tower with straws and tapes only. Students enjoyed the activity a lot!

Pui Ching Middle School (15 Oct 2021)

Cheng Tsz Ho, the awardee of CEE Entry Scholarship 2021/22, is giving a sharing to the students of his alma master. Look at their masterpiece!

Wa Ying College (29 Oct 2021)

Ir Samantha Kong, Visiting Assistant Professor, shared her experiences in exploring her interests and dream job. Students could better prepare for their JUPAS choice selection after joining the programme talk.

CCC Kei Long College (3 Nov)

The wave channel and control system and its application in the real world were demonstrated in the Hydraulic Laboratory. By joining the interactive workshop, students could learn about the tower structure and design.

St. Joseph's College (10 Nov)

Prof. C.S. Poon introduced civil and environmental engineering and the brand-new BEng (Hons) Scheme in Civil Engineering and Sustainable Development.

Several exciting demonstrations were arranged in Fire Engineering Laboratory.
