PolyU Info Day 2023
The PolyU Info Day 2023 was successfully held on 21 October 2023 (Saturday).
A big “thank you” to all the visitors and prospective students who spent time to engage in the wide range of activities organised by CEE, and a heartfelt gratitude to all our Academic Staff and Student Ambassadors for their dedication and passion in sharing their experiences.
Dr Barbara W.Y. Siu, Scheme Leader of BEng(Hons) Scheme in Civil Engineering and Sustainable Development [JS3120], introduced the Undergraduate (UG) programme’s admission information and career prospects of the industry during the information seminar, attracting more than 260 participants to come and discover our UG programme. Prof. Tak Ming Chan and Dr Yi Jiang, Programme Leaders for MSc in Civil Engineering [31077] and MSc in Environmental Management and Engineerig [31078] respectively, also provided admission details regarding the Taught Postgraduate Programmes (TPg) offered by CEE, helping the attendees acquire insights into their future learning journey.
Guided tours to the Structural Engineering Research Lab, Industrial Centre (IC) and Noise and Safety Lab were also arranged. The latest civil engineering-related equipment and technologies were showcased, allowing attendees to explore CEE’s facilities and get a glimpse into the vibrant university life at PolyU.
