The project entitled “Engineering an Integrated Wireless Sensing System for High-speed Trains: System Design and Field Test” was awarded by the PolyU Strategic Importance Scheme with the project sum of HK$1,900,000.
The PI of this project is Dr. S.K. Lai, and Prof. Yi-Qing Ni, Prof. Songye Zhu, Dr. Lu Zhou, and Dr. Su-Mei Wang are the Co-PIs of this project.
The project aims to develop a novel multi-stable vibration-driven energy harvesting technique to enable real-time monitoring for high-speed trains.
