Biography
Pengjiao Wang joined the CNERC in September 2022 as a Research Assistant, and later in September 2023 as a PhD student in PolyU. His main research interests and directions are the effective use of high-strength steel structures in civil infrastructures, especially prefabricated and recoverable steel-concrete composite bridges, including the design and analysis of prefabricated bridge structures and research on the mechanical properties and accordingly designed method of demountable steel-concrete composite beams, etc. His research project title is “Fatigue prediction of corroded high strength steel using physics-informed intelligence framework”.
