The HKSAR Government has recently adjusted the vaccination requirements. These include: (a) advancing the implementation of stage three of the Vaccine Pass from end June to end May; (b) shortening the grace period for receiving the third dose after the second dose under the Vaccine Pass; and (c) updating the vaccination requirements for persons previously infected with COVID-19 (recovered persons).
In light of the above, the University will make reference to the latest government Vaccine Pass requirements for campus access (including Student Halls). In particular, persons aged 18 or above are required to have received at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine by 30 April 2022 to continue to use the Vaccine Pass, and they should receive their third dose by 31 May 2022. We appreciate that many staff and students have already completed their third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and uploaded their records to the PolyU COVID-19 Vaccination Status Reporting Portal (https://cvsr.polyu.edu.hk/hdms/).
To facilitate the implementation of the Vaccine Pass with new adjustments for campus access, the University has enhanced the Reporting Portal for recovered staff and students to update their COVID-19 case details and upload supporting documents for verification.
Please note that for those unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated (i.e. 2 doses) but infected with COVID-19, their dosing schedule will change with respect to the number of doses received, types of vaccine and age. Details are given at

Each verified case of recovery will be allowed to enter the campus in accordance with the newly adjusted Vaccine Pass requirements and will be exempted from weekly COVID testing for 6 months from the date of recovery or till completion of required vaccination. The campus access arrangements will be revised as deemed appropriate with reference to the latest government requirements.
