Biography
Wanyu received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto in 2020. She received her B.Engr. degree from the School of Electronic Information and Communications, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, and her MPhil. degree from the Department of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Wanyu’s main research interest is in developing machine learning algorithms for graph-structured data. Currently, her research activities focus on model explanations for graph neural networks and trustworthy machine learning. Wanyu’s methods of graph representation learning have been applied to various fields, such as computer vision and social networks.
