I would like to congratulate the Polytechnic University on its 80th anniversary. Throughout its existence, PolyU has immensely contributed to the Hong Kong society. I treasure the excellent cooperation the University has with the Consulate General of the Czech Republic here in Hong Kong, which enabled us to deepen cooperation with many Czech Universites. In my view, the experience of studying abroad is one of the most enriching aspects of student life and I believe that the bond and fondness the Czech students bring from their stay in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong students from their studies in the Czech Republic will last a lifetime. I wish everyone at PolyU all the best in the many successful decades to come!
