Professor Dan Shechtman, 2011 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, delivered a lecture at PolyU on 20 April with the topic “Why Should We Teach Technological Entrepreneurship in Universities".

Asian Universities Basketball Tournament

On 13-17 June, the University will stage the “PolyU・King's Flair Group Asian Universities Invitational Basketball Tournament”, fostering connection among Asian universities, as well as promoting basketball and sportsmanship. PolyU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Global Student Challenge is an international business plan competition, providing a platform for academic, cultural and professional exchange for young entrepreneurs. On 24-30 June, 40 teams from secondary schools and universities from 22 countries will fly to Hong Kong for the final competition. Details
