Ir Prof. Alexander Wai Ping-kong, PolyU Vice President (Research Development), and Prof. Siu Wan-chi, Chair Professor of the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, have recently been elected Fellows of IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), effective from 1 January, 2012. The IEEE Fellowship is one of the most prestigious international recognitions for scientists and engineers in the electrical and electronic engineering and computer science fields.
