On January 22, PolyU and Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre jointly staged a lecture entitled “International Situation and China’s Diplomacy” (國際形勢與中國外交) which was conducted by Dr Ruan Zong-ze, Vice President and Senior Research Fellow of China Institute of International Studies and Editor-in-Chief of China International Studies.

The lecture drew overwhelming response from PolyU staff and students. Representatives of Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC in HKSAR, Society of Hong Kong Scholars, Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association and Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council also attended the lecture.
